Tour movement from Fejérkő to Tündérvölgy

The purpose of the tour movement is introducing the natural, ethnographic and cultural values in the area of Balatonföldvár Multi-purpose Small-regional Association. The tour can be carried out by walk independently of time  limitation and the sections. The tour line is 82 km long. Its completion is considered total when the codes you see in the tour are drawn (copied) into your tour exercise book and dated. Due to the characteristics of the area the tour movement  could have been realised only in the asphalt roads between the densely built-up settlements in the shore of the Lake  Balaton. These road lines are a little balanced by the section leading in the Somogy hills. In the tour, there are 3 x 3 matrix tables located. They include special signs. These signs shall be found and their codes shall be registered into the tour exercise book. Information on the position of the code tables is available in the respective descriptions of the settlements. The tour route goes in the hunting areas of the Forestry Unit of SEFAG RT in Szántód. You are kindly asked to get information on the valid visiting rules and limitations specified for the forests in advance and keep them. Take care of cleanness in the forest; do not litter and do not forget you are only a guest in the forest!
In the introduction of the settlements all places of interest are listed with their GPS coordinates. The tour movement is managed by the Saint Christopher Association of Hikers (abbreviated name after the Hungarian name: SZKTE) of which the address is H-8622 Szántód, Iskola Street 9. The exercise book of the tour movement is free of charge but for the certifying badge you have to pay. The fee is specified by the Association. The tour movement and its starting point is called after the most important castle ruins in Somogy County, namely the Fejérkő Castle near to Kereki village. The destination of the tour line is in Balatonszemes district and called after a beautiful valley in the forest being south to the village. In the tour line certain changes can be expected from time to time that are described in the website of the SZKTE. Please check the update information. We also wait for your comments and other useful information in our website.
We wish all hikers good tours.
